Foot prints on the moon

Go quietly, go peacefully, leave your tiny foot prints on the moon.

Wait for me amongst heavenly bodies, where we will meet again soon.

Your journey has sadly ended and yet, it’s only just begun, in a moment I will close my eyes, one final time, and we’ll be together as one.

For this world did not deserve you and I fear neither did I, but this life feels like a hopeless void without my tiny special guy.

So wait for me and please don’t cry, mommy is on her way. It won’t be years, weeks or months, I will be with you today…

Dance of the Dandelions

In the light of the Moon, the wild dandelions dance.

The rhythmic wind orchestra guides them to new beginnings on paths unknown,

Be not afraid wild Dandelions, have faith. For the path is illuminated and your guide has circled the globe.

All you need do is follow…

Death of a star

Bury the embers of our once bright flame,

Stomp the dirt so they may never burn again,

Pray for rain so they may never rekindle,

The death our love,

Made to sound so simple,

Forget to mention the warmth that flame provided,

Why choose to remember only how it divided,

We once burnt bright as any star in the sky,

Only to discover, the brightest stars start to die,

So make a wish for every star that you see, for we don’t know who’s love each star may be.

Fields of Lavender

Skies of bright burnt orange and violet

The morning sun peaks from behind hills on the horizon

Open fields of sun grazed Lavender

The morning dew drops from your delicate petals

With the softest of touches, I graze your sweet scented flowers

You greet me with a burst of calming aroma

The blessing of this day now delivered

I am at peace…

The Grey men

You might’ve seen them in passing and never took a second look, black hood with a black pants, face hidden behind a book,

Their presence unassuming, their aura hard to read, the nomadic mystery travelers never stay longer than they need,

The silent motel guests, never noticed coming or going, empty room the next day without anyone knowing,

They always travel light, just the clothes left on their back, everything they need, could fit in a small backpack,

The John Doe’s on the tables, shrouded in mysteries and fables, you could try to track ones movements, but I doubt that you’d be able.

The Grey Man

Will I ever escape…

I recognize it,

The metallic scent that sweeps the previously peaceful meadow,

The once life giving aquamarine rivers now an ominous crimson hue

A dense smog blankets the world, tinting the sky a foreboding shade of grey

Ash rains down like delicate snowflakes in the heart of Winter

My breath labored, my heart pulsating, I fear I may never escape your pursuit

I recognize it,

For on my best days you lurk in the shadows, unseen but not forgotten

On my worst days the world distorts, reconstructed in your haunting image.

Depression & Anxiety

My Angel

She danced among the planets, her head twirled within the stars, the universe her playground, her hair a shade of Mars,

Saturn’s rings do grace her fingers, Queen of the final frontier, too pure a soul to grace this world, you could never just stay here,

Untamed celestial beauty, drifting further out of orbit, her body knew of gravity, her soul chose to ignore it,

May we one-day meet again, so we can spread our angelic feathers, for now my love I’ll wait my turn to drift among the Heavens.

Faceless names & Nameless Faces

A life spent in service, though not many know, a nameless face helping in every store that you go,

A thankless job, yet expectations are exceeded, but yet still no one can acknowledge you’re needed,

A faceless name on the other end of the phone, takes all your abuse for companies they don’t own,

The customers don’t care and the bosses don’t either, although without you, there wouldn’t be neither.

Left in the rain

He was angry, he was hurt, his heart all muddied, dragged though the dirt, he felt a pain that had left him cold, his inner child could not bear this world,

Try as he may to find his peace, his sorrow he could not release, until one very fateful day, his inner child came out to play,

For he met a girl who could reach inside, he no longer felt the need to hide, as she knew his trauma and she knew his pain, she knew the feeling of being left in the rain.

Left in the rain

Forest of Dreams

Wandering the forest, beams of light pierce the thick canopy, the whispers of the wind lead me deeper and deeper,

Oh sweet serenity in the presence of royalty, the fairy princess dancing in the distance motions me to keep moving forward,

Her movements mesmerizing, she glides between the trees, disappearing for a moment or eternity it seems,

Where is it that she leads me, I cannot help but wonder, is all of this a dream? Am i caught in a slumber?

The sun dips below the mountains, taking with it the light, oh serene fairy princess, you still sparkle so bright,

Silk woven gown, adorned in sheer black, enchanting white wings, emerge from your back,

A slumber it may be, though one fact remains true, in the forest of dreams I am closer to you…

Oh, Serene Fairy Princess
