Go quietly, go peacefully, leave your tiny foot prints on the moon.

Wait for me amongst heavenly bodies, where we will meet again soon.

Your journey has sadly ended and yet, it’s only just begun, in a moment I will close my eyes, one final time, and we’ll be together as one.

For this world did not deserve you and I fear neither did I, but this life feels like a hopeless void without my tiny special guy.

So wait for me and please don’t cry, mommy is on her way. It won’t be years, weeks or months, I will be with you today…

You drive me crazy, you make my day, you give me headaches, when you moan to play, you drive me crazy and that’s okay, because I wouldn’t spend my time with you, any other way

You’re always hungry, where do you keep all that food, I’m sorry that dad’s not always in the mood, understand that I’m tired and work hard everyday, to give you the best, in every way

Know that dad loves you and you’re his best friend, I’ll always be there for you, you can always depend, bring me your troubles, bring me your peace, we’ll share every victory and every defeat

So sleep sweet my baby, I’ll be here when you rise, you’ll always be my baby, no matter your size
